Mother's day

I think I get it. Mother's day can go very wrong very quickly for me. Somehow I have some outlandish expectations. A nice gift, breakfast in bed, having a break from those who allow me to qualify for Mother's day. So this year, I did not get the gift I specifically asked for ( a piano bench). But, I received a surprise Tulip garden cake, some big hugs and some hand drawn cards. Really it was what I wanted but just didn't know it before!
